The lazy panda


In a cozy den where slumber reigned,
Lived a panda, slothful, yet expressive,
With eyes like onyx, a languid behavior,
He moved like molasses, the ultimate dreamer.

He would  lie down all day,
In bamboo shadows, his hours would sway,
A portrait of leisure, his pride and joy,
A life of laziness he sought to employ.

 A bustling bee with ceaseless supervision,
Worked diligently, obligations hard to bear,
While he, her panda, dawdle without care,
In a world of dreams, he'd disappear.

She would  toil with grace,
Her efforts, constant embrace,
Yet, frustration brewed within her soul,
As lethargy took a heavy toll.

"O my panda, awaken from your sleep,
Life's passing by, in its rhythm, we must keep,
The world awaits, with its wonders and delight,
Don't let your passivity shroud your sight."

But the panda remained unmoved,
In his daze, he was firmly grooved,
He shrugged off her pleas, with a sleepy yawn,
Unfazed by the world outside, he'd carry on.

As seasons passed, the bee tried her best,
To ignite a spark, awaken from rest,
Yet the lazy panda's heart seemed at ease,
In his tranquil cocoon, he found his peace.

Though frustrations soared, her love was strong,
She couldn't bear to admit she was wrong,
For deep inside, she knew he was more,
Then just a panda, lying on the floor.

In his eyes, she saw a tender soul,
A heart that longed for a deeper role,
A gentle spirit, a true love,
If only he'd rise and discover it too.

And so, she persisted, with love untamed,
In her efforts to see his spirit reclaimed,
With patience and hope, she'd gently prod,
To awaken the panda, who'd become a sloth.

Perhaps one day, the spell will break,
The panda will rise, his spirit awake,
Together they'll journey, hand in hand,
Exploring the world, a wonderful land.

For in every lazy panda's heart, you'll find,
A glimmer of purpose, a spark undefined,
And with love's embrace and unyielding will,
He may rise from doze, her heart to fill.
